John Caragiulo brings to Hembree & Associates over 30 years of experience in food service, hospitality and lodging based operations. His specialties involve all aspects of the consulting, concept development, and site selection/acquisition process. His experience in tenant representation has been sought after by both national and regional clientele. John's expertise in asset management and receiverships has also garnered the attention of REO administrators for assistance in the protection and continued operation of asset portfolios related to the food service industry.
John is a member of the Realtor Association of Sarasota-Manatee/Commercial Investment Division, the Sarasota Downtown Partnership, the Palm Avenue Merchants Association, and both the National and Florida Restaurant & Lodging Associations. In North Carolina, he is a member of the North Carolina Association of Realtors, the Hendersonville Board of Realtors, and the Charlotte area Canopy MLS.
He has served as an Executive Board member of the Sarasota Chapter of the Council of Independent Restaurants of America (CIRA), and is a founding member of the Sarasota Originals, an organization that was formed to unite independently owned restaurants to identify and brand the Sarasota region as a culinary destination.
He served on the Managing Board of Directors for the Sarasota Family YMCA/Babe Weiller Branch from 2008 to 2016.
